More clear-headed capacity, every day.

Executive coaching and advisory for senior product leaders.

THE PRACTICE

About Product Craftworks

The product leadership role keeps getting bigger, more operational, more ambiguous. AI is reshaping how teams build, expectations are shifting fast, and very few people outside the function understand what the job actually requires. Some of the most capable leaders in tech are making their hardest decisions alone.

I founded Product Craftworks because that's a problem worth solving. Senior product leaders deserve dedicated time to think clearly with someone who's done the job.

Better leaders create ripple effects on those around them. Those ripple effects can make a real difference in how we work in tech today.

YOUR COACH AND ADVISOR

About Molly

I coach senior product leaders (CEOs, CPOs, Heads of Product, SVPs, VPs, Directors) who need a thinking partner who gets it. I spent 20+ years building products and leading teams, including 4+ years in the C-suite at Change.org and Kiva.

THE SHORT VERSION

I started my career in e-commerce, building one of the first online marketplaces for mom & pop booksellers to sell to collectors. From there, I built a platform for artists and photographers to publish and sell books of their work, and I led product at the world's largest social change platform (Change.org) and an international microfinance nonprofit (Kiva). I've run product, design, growth, customer service, and research teams.

When you tell me your board is asking the wrong questions, or your CEO keeps relitigating decisions, or you can't figure out which of the twelve things on your plate actually matters this quarter, I've been there.

APPROACH

How I work

I'm a Certified Integral Coach™ through New Ventures West. That means I coach the whole person, not just the problem on the table. I'm also a product person, so we can leap-frog into the details of your real day-to-day situations.

Observation, pattern recognition, following a hunch even when it might be a rat hole are the skills that made me a good product leader. They're also the core of what makes me a good coach.

We start by getting clear on what you're working on, what "better" looks like for you specifically, and how we'll know it's working. From there, each session is built around your real situations. We get to the actual issue and you leave with specific things to work on before we meet again.

I pay close attention to the problem on the table, but also to what's underneath it. When you're navigating a reorg, I'm thinking about the org design and the stakeholder dynamics, and I'm also noticing how you talk about it, what tightens up when you describe the CEO's latest request, and what story you're telling yourself about your own competence. That's what "coaching the whole person with the rigor of a product person" means in practice.

FEEDBACK

What people say

Clients describe our work as honest, direct, and kind. They say I'm good at pulling out patterns, that I push their thinking in ways that stick, and they appreciate that they don't have to explain why the product job is hard.

When people work with me, they stop second-guessing themselves and communicate more directly. They figure out what actually matters and let the rest go. The result is more clear-headed capacity every day.

What’s next

I run a small practice by design, to allow deep focus with clients. I work best with people who are reflective, open to trying things a different way, and willing to do the work between sessions.

If you're a product leader who wants a partner who's done the job, I'd like to hear what you're working on.
